Financial resources for Coaching sessions now available!

Thanks to generous support from the Lilly Endowment Inc., the Gifts of Grace program is offering funding for rostered ministers who would like to utilize the new Coaching program in SW MN Synod. Rostered minsters can receive support for up to four coaching sessions.

Coaching can help with renewal in ministry. It's a chance to intentionally open up about grief, goals, and God questions – assisting individuals who are feeling 'stuck' to get 'unstuck.' Contact Pastor Kirsten Nelson Roenfeldt (Synod Coaching Coordinator) at [email protected] or 320-200-9295 to start the process. She will listen to your request and then assign you to a coach trained in our Synod. Take advantage of this resource – this funding will not be available after February of 2024!!

The Gifts of Grace Phase III funding came from an invitation to apply for additional support from Lilly Endowment Inc. to address the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on pastors as part of its initiative, Equipping Faithful Stewards: Financial Strategies for Pastors in All Seasons. Grateful for receiving these funds, the Gifts of Grace program continues to address the wellbeing of our rostered ministers.

Please reach out to Pastor Andrew Hermodson-Olsen, Gifts of Grace director, if you wish to hear more or have any questions. The Phase III funds expire at the end of the year.
