Money. Stewardship. These topics tend to fall to the bottom of many rostered leaders’ to-do lists. Leaders can easily see them as necessary evils. Yet to quote Henri Nouwen, “Fundraising is proclaiming what we believe in such a way that we offer other people an opportunity to participate with us in our vision and mission.” Rev. Pete Reuss from GSB Fundraising will begin a practical conversation integrating money and generosity conversations into the mission of the congregation.
