Assembly registration will close May 26th
All registration information is posted online at www.swmnelca.org/synod-assembly.
It is extremely important to register before May 26th. The Synod Assembly will be in person for the first time in 4 years! A lot has happened, and a lot has changed in that time. Though assembly members will be in person, please take note of the following:
- There will be no voting keypads. We're going paperless. Assembly materials (ballots, reports, schedules, workshop descriptions, etc.) will be posted to the Guidebook app and the synod webpage. All materials can be printed off from the synod assembly's webpage. Voting will take place using the Assembly Guidebook app. Anyone can download and view the app. However, all voting members must download the app on their own mobile devices and create an account to be able to vote.
- There will be three Zoom Meetings prior to the actual Assembly. They will take place next week. All voting members are encouraged to attend all three hearings. This is an opportunity to learn and ask questions regarding the 2025 Proposed Budget and 2024 Proposed Compensation Guidelines. The Assembly Orientation will provide directions for you to download and find materials in Guidebook; a practice session on voting; and more valuable information.

Zoom Links were emailed to registered assembly members for the pre-assembly hearings. All registered voting members should have received that email. If you have a colleague or congregation member that did not receive this email, and they are registered for the assembly, please contact the synod office asap to double-check the email used for their assembly registration.
