Let love be genuine; hate what is evil; hold fast to what is good; love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor. Do not lag in zeal; be ardent in spirit; serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; persevere in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints; pursue hospitality to strangers. – Romans 12:9-13
Many people are looking for hope these days. So, where do you see hope? Show us!
As the Southwestern Minnesota Synod gathers in assembly June 5-6, you can be present by sharing IMAGES OF HOPE. Everyone has a gift for seeing something that gives hope. So, everyone can have a part in this. As you go about your daily rhythm – at work or school, in your community, out in creation, with your congregation, living out your baptism, wherever! Keep your eyes wide open for images of hope. Take a photo! And then share it.
Send your photo to Synod Communications Coordinator Kristin Bakeberg via email at [email protected]. Please include your name, congregation, and city.
Your photos will create a beautiful gallery that will be shown as a powerpoint at the assembly. Photos will also be shared on the synod's website and Facebook page.
Whether you will be present or not, send your photo and help the rest of the assembly get a glimpse of hope from your perspective, from your part of the world. Thank you!
