Join us for a fun lunch hour at the synod office in Redwood Falls on March 17. There will be free food\, a fun collaborative art project\, and time to chat about our visions for the future—this is what will make up our 12pm-1:30pm time together. SUMMARY:Sr. High Youth Gathering
DESCRIPTION:The LYO board is overjoyed to be sharing registration materials for the Synod’s annual Senior High Youth Gathering! All 9th-12th grade students are invited to this event\, which is coordinated and planned by the SW MN Synod Lutheran Youth Organization (LYO). It will be held March 10-11\, 2023 at Luther Crest Bible Camp\, Alexandria\, MN. \nOur theme this year is “Where God Guides\, God Provides\,” based on Isaiah 58:11. \nWe have an outstanding gathering planned for you: \n\nSpeaker & Band: Joe Davis and the Poetic Diaspora (speaker and poet/musicians)\nNightlife: Variety of activities including open gym\, bonfire\, music\, Spikeball tournament\, games\, etc.\nThe Zen Zone (a relaxing place for peace and prayer)\nSmall group sessions led by trained youth to help dig deeper into the theme\nService learning opportunities include a guest speaker from LSS\, tying blankets\, and refugee experience simulator\nLYO board elections (more info below!)\nLively worship\, dancing\, singing\, fun\, faith and relationship-building\n\nRegistration Fee: $110 per person. SAS congregations move embrace an impactful annual appeal and move into other vital realms of a culture of generosity: Communications and Storytelling\, Strategic Planning\, Endowments\, Special Appeals\, Volunteer Recruitment\, and Donor Cultivation \nThe Southwestern Minnesota Synod invites you to a virtual informational session via Zoom to meet Rev.
