Brooks Rankin will be join us for the Fall Theological Conference. Brooks will give a presentation Sunday evening and will be available throughout the conference to meet with pastors.
Brooks is a servant leader at heart. He has been helping people inside and outside of the financial services industry for over 20 years. Brooks has a B.A. in Economics from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and has also earned the CLU® and the ChFC® designations.
Brooks’ calling is to provide the highest standard of practical, understandable and unbiased financial guidance. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, he is bound by the CFP Board’s “Standards of Professional Conduct” and he is obliged to uphold the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence. Brooks is required to put your interests ahead of his own at all times, and to provide financial planning services as a “fiduciary”— acting in the best interest of his financial planning clients.
As the Financial Planning Manager at Portico Benefit Services, Brooks is able to combine his professional knowledge and expertise with his strong desire to serve those who serve others. He has the privilege of working directly with Portico members to provide planning services as part of their financial wellness benefit, as well as provide guidance and support to a group of amazing financial planners who offer the same professional, unbiased guidance to Portico members.
Brooks and his family live in Waconia, MN. His wife, Cari, is finishing up her degree to start a second career as a Registered Nurse. They have five wonderful children who keep them on their toes and also fill their hearts with gratitude. Brooks volunteers his time generously. He is a past President of the Waconia Hockey Association and the Glencoe Area Chamber of Commerce and has also been a member of the Milton Stern Scholars Fund committee through the CFP Board. He coaches youth hockey and also helps out with confirmation activities at their church, Faith Lutheran in Waconia.
