Portico Benefit Services
This fall, your organization needs to decide which ELCA-Primary health benefit option to offer plan members in 2014, even if none of your plan members have ELCA health benefits today. We’ve created tools and resources to help you understand the four new health benefit options and project your organization’s 2014 costs. You’ll enter your selection between Sept. 16 – Oct. 14 and support plan members during their enrollment Nov. 1 – Nov. 22.
If you are member of ELCA Benefits. Go to myProtico, sign in and generate your 2014 personal health benefit comparison report to help you understand your health benefit options.
The ELCA Church Council has encouraged people to use the Gold Plus version. It is like Gold versions you will find on the exchanges, but the Gold Plus is a reminder that it includes much more, like our ongoing wellness initiatives that are making lives healthier and allowing members to be better stewards of their health. That is the option our Synod’s Personnel Committee recommended to our Synod Council.
