Lutheran Men in Mission

Lutheran Men in Mission is a vital and growing ministry of the ELCA working to bring the radical Gospel of Jesus Christ to the men in our area. We seek bringing a life-changing men’s ministry in every congregation by lifting up leaders in churches and supporting them with prayer and resources. We afford men opportunities to grow in their faith through gatherings and education.

This ministry is vital to the church. We are losing men from the pews at an alarming rate and without them we will not be able to sustain Christ’s ministry to the next generation. Research shows that congregations with a higher percentage of men actively engaged also tend to have stronger worship attendance, stewardship and family and children’s ministries. Join us in strengthening our church by strengthening our men.

Here are some ways that you can get involved:
• Start a Bible Study: Gather 5 other men from your congregation and you can receive 6 Master Builders Bibles for men. FREE!
• Join us for an Event: Would you like to go canoeing or golfing? Or maybe you need a getaway in the spring. Join us for a relaxing and faith renewing event. Watch for upcoming dates.
• Share your ideas: Have you had an event or program that the men in your congregation have really enjoyed? Share it with us on lmmswmn.ning.com. We need your ideas so we can find out what is working and let everyone know.
• Lift us up with your prayers and support: To do all of this it will take more than just a few. Join us. Pray, seek God’s guidance in how to get involved.
